Thank you for booking with PZR Piano Solutions LLC. These policies explain our main booking, payment, cancellation, service, lesson, privacy, and customer responsibility terms. (Last updated: June 24, 2026)

By booking, scheduling, submitting an inquiry, purchasing, or using any service from PZR Piano Solutions LLC, you agree to these policies.

Services Offered

PZR Piano Solutions LLC currently offers:

• Piano Tuning

• Repairs & Regulation

• Piano Cleaning

• Private Piano Lessons, online and in-home

All services are subject to availability, location, piano condition, scheduling capacity, and professional discretion.

Booking & Appointment Approval

Submitting a booking request, lesson inquiry, or intake form does not guarantee a confirmed appointment.

Appointments may still be declined, canceled, rescheduled, or adjusted based on availability, location, service area, instrument condition, access conditions, scheduling conflicts, or our approval.

Service Area

In-home piano care services and in-home lessons are offered within up to 1 hour of Downtown Tacoma.

Requests outside this area may be considered case by case and may require an additional travel fee.

Service availability may also depend on scheduling capacity, location, parking, stairs, elevator access, secured entry, and other access conditions.

Piano Service Appointments

Piano service appointments include tuning, repairs and regulation, and cleaning.

Appointments canceled or rescheduled with more than 24 hours’ notice may be rescheduled, subject to availability.

Because appointment times are reserved in advance, cancellations, rescheduling requests, or no-shows within 24 hours of the appointment may not be guaranteed a new appointment at the originally scheduled rate or priority.

Limited exceptions may be made for emergencies at our discretion.

Payment is due at the end of the appointment unless otherwise arranged in advance. Accepted payment methods may include card, cash, check, or approved online payment methods.

Piano Lesson Appointments

Lessons canceled or rescheduled with more than 24 hours’ notice may be rescheduled, subject to instructor availability.

Because appointments are reserved in advance, cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson may not be eligible for a make-up lesson.

No-shows are not eligible for a make-up lesson.

Limited exceptions may be made for emergencies at our discretion.

If a student arrives late, the lesson will still end at the originally scheduled time unless otherwise decided by the instructor. Lost time due to late arrival is generally not guaranteed to be made up.

Lesson Formats & Expectations

Private piano lessons may be offered online or in-home, in English or Spanish, depending on availability.

For online lessons, students are responsible for having a stable internet connection, a working device with camera and audio, access to their instrument before the lesson begins, and a quiet learning environment.

Technical issues on the student’s side may affect lesson quality and may not always qualify for a refund or make-up time.

For in-home lessons, the student or family must provide a safe and accessible teaching environment, a playable piano or keyboard, and reasonable conditions for focused instruction.

PZR Piano Solutions LLC may refuse or discontinue in-home lessons if the environment is unsafe, inaccessible, disruptive, or otherwise unsuitable.

Student Progress

Each student progresses at a different pace. Progress depends on consistent practice, lesson attendance, preparation, focus, motivation, and following assigned material.

PZR Piano Solutions LLC provides structured instruction and guidance but cannot guarantee a specific rate of progress or performance outcome.

Parent / Guardian Responsibility for Minors

For students under 18, a parent or legal guardian must approve these policies and is responsible for payment for lessons and any agreed-upon lesson arrangements.

The parent or guardian is also responsible for communication, supervision when needed, and timely pickup when applicable.

Pricing & Additional Work

Prices listed online or quoted before an appointment are estimates unless otherwise stated.

Final pricing may vary depending on the piano’s condition, time required, additional requested work, travel or access complications, and the need for pitch correction or extra stabilization.

If additional work is needed beyond the original booking, it will be discussed before proceeding whenever possible.

Pitch Raise / Significant Pitch Correction

If a piano has not been tuned regularly or is significantly below standard pitch, it may require a pitch raise or additional tuning-related work.

This may involve an additional charge. Some pianos may require more than one visit for improved tuning stability.

Final results depend on the piano’s age, condition, maintenance history, and structural stability.

Repairs & Regulation Scope

Repairs & Regulation appointments are for common issues only. They do not include major repairs, full restoration, extensive rebuilding, or advanced structural/action work.

If the piano requires work beyond the current scope of services, we may recommend a different service path, limit the work performed, or decline the appointment.

Piano Condition & Tuning Disclaimer

Every piano responds differently based on its age, maintenance history, environment, and overall condition.

Because of this, PZR Piano Solutions LLC cannot guarantee long-term tuning stability after one visit, that an older or neglected piano will hold pitch like a regularly maintained instrument, or that minor repairs will fully resolve deeper mechanical issues.

During tuning, especially on older or poorly maintained pianos, string breakage may occur due to age, corrosion, metal fatigue, or existing structural weakness.

While every precaution is taken to service the piano safely and professionally, PZR Piano Solutions LLC is not responsible for pre-existing conditions that may lead to string failure during tuning.

Any string replacement or related repair work required as a result of such breakage will be the responsibility of the client and billed separately.

Some pianos may require multiple visits or more extensive work than originally expected.

Cleaning Disclaimer

Piano cleaning is intended to improve cleanliness and presentation within the agreed scope of service. It is not a restoration service.

Cosmetic wear, discoloration, oxidation, finish damage, or age-related issues may not be fully removable.

Delicate finishes may require conservative handling, and internal cleaning may be limited by accessibility or piano condition.

Customer Responsibilities

Before your appointment, please make sure the piano or lesson space is accessible and clear of obstacles, pets are secured if needed, access instructions are shared in advance, and the environment is safe and reasonably clean.

Please disclose parking details, gate codes, apartment access, stairs/elevator details, secured entry requirements, or other access concerns before the appointment.

Undisclosed access issues may result in additional charges or rescheduling.

Right to Decline, Refuse, Stop, or Reschedule Service

PZR Piano Solutions LLC reserves the right to decline, refuse, stop, or reschedule any service appointment, lesson request, or ongoing lesson arrangement at our professional discretion.

This may include, but is not limited to, situations where conditions are unsafe or unsanitary, the piano or lesson space is inaccessible, the piano’s condition was materially misrepresented, the requested work exceeds our scope of service, the location is outside our approved service area, the environment is disruptive or unsuitable, scheduling is not practical, or the client/student relationship is not a good fit for our services.

We also reserve the right to discontinue services or lessons if communication becomes inappropriate, disrespectful, threatening, or inconsistent with a safe and professional working environment.

If an appointment cannot proceed due to unsafe, unsuitable, inaccessible, or materially misrepresented conditions, the appointment may need to be rescheduled or declined. Any applicable charges for work already performed, travel, or additional service time will be discussed when possible.

PZR Piano Solutions LLC does not decline services or lessons for unlawful discriminatory reasons.

Privacy Policy

PZR Piano Solutions LLC only collects the information needed to provide services and lessons, schedule appointments, communicate with you, send invoices or payment requests, process payments, and maintain basic business records.

This may include your name, phone number, email address, service address for in-home appointments, appointment details, piano-related information, lesson-related information, and payment-related records processed through third-party platforms.

Your information may be stored or processed through secure third-party platforms used to run PZR Piano Solutions LLC, such as scheduling systems, invoicing software, payment processors, website forms, email communication platforms, and video lesson platforms.

We do not sell your personal information.

Please avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive personal information unless specifically requested for a legitimate service-related reason.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PZR Piano Solutions LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to tuning instability, pre-existing piano defects, age-related instrument limitations, cosmetic limitations in cleaning, technology issues during online lessons, or scheduling disruptions outside our control.

Any liability related to a specific service or lesson will not exceed the amount paid for that specific service or lesson.

Insurance

We maintain business insurance appropriate for our operations. Upon reasonable request, we may provide a certificate of insurance evidencing current coverage. Insurance coverage is subject to the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions of the applicable policy and does not expand or modify our obligations under these Terms.

Governing Law

These policies are governed by the laws of the State of Washington.

Policy Updates

PZR Piano Solutions LLC may update these policies at any time. Continued use of services after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policies.
